Earlier today, the communications team from MGCSP participated in a planning meeting organized by Conservation International-Liberia. The meeting was hinged on developing Information, Education & Communication materials relative to the Blue Oceans Programme thematic areas.

The Blue Oceans programme promotes sustainable management of Liberia’s coastal and marine ecosystems. It works toward the conservation and restoration of marine and coastal ecosystem services to alleviate poverty, protect biodiversity, mitigate and adapt to climate change.

According to UN Women, Gender inequality coupled with the climate crisis is one of the greatest challenges of our time. It poses threats to ways of life, livelihoods, health, safety and security for women and girls around the world.
