This year’s theme was “Partnerships for Wildlife Conservation”. Most speakers emphasized the shared responsibility in wildlife and Biodiversity conservation, calling on everyone – communities, government, civil society and international partners, to play their part in stopping trade in endangered species.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species CITES of wild plants and animals.
