EPA and UNDP Liberia, with funding from Global Environment Facility, on Thursday, June 2, 2022 commenced a two-day National and Sub-National Environmental Awareness Campaign in Gbarnga, Bong County. The two-day event, which attracted local government officials including city majors and development superintendents from 12 counties, representatives of environmental groups and line ministries, agencies and commissions of government seeks to among many others improved the understanding and interpretation of global environmental trends and socioeconomic implications. The event which is funded by the Global Environment Facility is being held under the auspices of the Cross-Cutting Capacity Development Project.
