The Environmental Protection Agency and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on Thursday, August 20, 2020 commenced a two-day training for female journalists to improve environmental awareness and reporting on the value of Rio Conventions and other Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEA).The training which is being held under the theme: “Strengthening national capacities to meet global environmental obligations with the framework of sustainable development priorities” attracts female reporters across the country.It is being held under the auspices of the Cross-Cutting Capacity Development (CCCD) Project with funding from Global Environmental Facility (GEF). It’s taking place in Ganta, Nimba County.
