The National Energy Policy (NEP) is the product of an extensive process of consultations that started with the National Energy Stakeholders Forum (NESF) in October 2006. Recommendations from that forum were summarized in the National Energy Sector White Paper published in February 2007. After a process of scrutiny and validation involving all key stakeholders, the White Paper has now been transformed into the
