To support participatory environmental monitoring for the artisanal and small-scale mining sector, the Society for the Conservation of Nature in Liberia (SCNL) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on Thursday, August 26, 2021 commenced a two-day Environmental Governance Program Workshop in Tubmanburg, Bomi County. The workshop which attracts artisanal miners, representatives of the Environmental Protection Agency of Liberia (EPA), Ministry of Mines, civil society organizations and local authorities is being held under auspices of the EPA.
