The Ministry is mandated to ensure strict adherence to insurance standards and regulations in collaboration with insurance agencies operating in the country.

Through its special project, the MOT provides weather and climate information services to key sectors such as: environment, health, energy, water resources, transport (land, air and sea), agriculture and disaster risk reduction, as well as daily weather forecasts to the general public.
