Met de SM1.3 zet Shanling een nieuwe standaard neer voor netwerkspelers en DAC’s die het kloppend hart van een serieuze HiFi-set willen zijn. Het apparaat is uitgerust met AKM’s topcombinatie van de AK4499EX DAC en AK4141 Delta-Sigma modulator, waarmee audio tot PCM 32-bit/768kHz en DSD512 met uiterste precisie wordt omgezet. Dankzij ondersteuning voor een breed scala aan streamingdiensten zoals Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music, Apple Classical en Presto Music, aangevuld met DLNA, AirPlay 2 en Samba, functioneert de SM1.3 als een uiterst flexibele en toekomstbestendige netwerkspeler.

Onder de motorkap draait de SM1.3 op een krachtige 64-bit ARM Cortex-A55 processor, gecombineerd met een speciaal voor Hi-Fi geoptimaliseerde Android 12-omgeving. Met 4GB RAM, 64GB interne opslag en een M.2 SSD-slot biedt hij snelle respons, stabiele werking en ruimte voor uitbreiding. De volledig vernieuwde Shanling-interface is ontworpen voor directe en intuïtieve bediening, met snelle toegang tot instellingen en afspeelfuncties via het 5,8-inch 1080p touchscreen. Het strakke aluminium chassis met afgeronde hoeken, glazen bovenpaneel en keuze uit zwart of zilver sluit naadloos aan bij andere Shanling-componenten zoals de MCD1.3.

Op audiotechnisch vlak is de SM1.3 met grote zorg opgebouwd. De voeding is gescheiden uitgevoerd voor digitale en analoge circuits, elk aangedreven door een eigen 31W ringkerntransformator voor een stabiele, ruisarme stroomvoorziening. Accusilicon precisieklokken en Shanling’s AGLO-technologie zorgen voor bit-perfecte weergave, zelfs binnen Android. De analoge uitgang maakt gebruik van een MUSES8920 OPA en kan als voorversterker worden ingezet, terwijl de geïntegreerde 6,35mm hoofdtelefoonuitgang met TPA6120-OPA ook veeleisende hoofdtelefoons moeiteloos aanstuurt. Met WiFi 6, Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.2 met LDAC en aptX-varianten, XMOS XU316 USB-interface en bediening via de vernieuwde Eddict Player-app is de Shanling SM1.3 een complete, moderne en audiofiele alles-in-één oplossing.

Fits our 2012 X5d perfectly. Do yourself a favor and youtube the process for replacing these. You'll see it's well worth doing yourself rather than paying a shop that charges a BMW premium on everything. Also something I learned recently... this is a low cost high charge item at the mechanic. A lot of times when they suggest replacing these it's because they just tick the box and don't actually look at them. We had our mechanic admit this on a recent service where it was suggested to replace, when we had just done it ourselves in April.

Perfect fit for our 2018 X5 35D
Perfect fit. Never replaced a filter in this car before and took me only 13 minutes. I timed it lol. That includes taking some before and after pictures from the old and new filter. What is worth mentioning is that the car was until now under the “fake maintenance” from BMW that comes with a new car and goes until 36.000 miles. Up to this mileage there is no other service the. The oil changes (3) due. The first real checkup is at a higher mileage and not covered anymore. Anyway , those filters where replaced before from a BMW dealership. When I compare the new filters and the filters I took out of the car they look the same. I was expecting to find some BMW marks on the installed filter but perhaps they don’t put their name in it anymore??? Or it could be they also put “after market” parts in. Anyway, BMW quoted me in all seriousness 700 dollar to replace those filters and the Inside filter The inside filter is on its way and is 25 dollar. Together with those filters the parts came to 55 dollar and I guess a total of 30 minute of work. Well done BMW, lol. We all need to make a living buy that should be considered “robbery” Anyway, if you thinking about replacing those filters then go for it. It’s not complicated and all you need is a screw driver to get one plastic river out that you can push back in once you are done. Those filters here from MANN are the real deal and fit perfectly and state that they are made in Germany. I have no reason not to believe it.

It seems to be working well, so far. The check engine light turned off and the my vehicle seems to be running well. Be sure to follow the instructions. A while back, I wasted some money on a different catalytic converter cleaner because I put the cleaner in on a full tank of gas. It's best to wait until you're at a half tank or less of gasoline before you put in your catalytic converter cleaner. Also, I drove around right after I put in the catalytic converter cleaner and before I filled up my tank again. A couple of days later, I went to the gas station and topped off my tank. Again, it seems to be running well for now.
