Around them, everything stays green and textural. White and green viburnum add their soft, rounded clusters. Skimmia brings its dense, budded heads. Pittosporum contributes smaller, variegated leaves. Eucalyptus, green berries and a seed head fill out the body with enough variation in leaf shape and tone to keep it interesting without introducing any more colour.

Ivy with purple berries trails at the edges and connects back to the warm tones of the hydrangeas with its dark, clustered fruit. It's a small detail, but it ties the reds and greens together convincingly.
