The RAP-B-101AU-A mounts a camera or camcorder by its standard 1/4"-20 tripod thread, drilling down to a flat surface via an AMPS round base and linking the two with a short composite double socket arm. The threaded plate supports the camera from underneath, and the ball-and-socket arm adjusts to almost any angle — all in lightweight, lower-cost composite.

Composite or aluminium? This is the lighter, lower-cost composite version. The RAM-B-101AU-A is powder-coated aluminium for maximum durability.
