The Kentucky Mesh Fly Rug in Beige offers your horse the ultimate protection from flies and bugs in the field this summer.
It is made from a dense structured mesh fabric to help keep the flies off your horse's skin. This mesh is extremely strong, making the rug your horse's ideal field companion for many years to come.
The fabric has a flat, soft-touch on the inside to prevent any pulling on your horse's coat. The mane, chest and tail areas are lined with smooth polyester to reduce the risk of rubbing, so it's ideal for horses with sensitive skin.
The light Beige colour acts to reflect the sun's rays and does not absorb heat, while the fine mesh allows airflow through the rug, thus helping to keep your horse cool on warmer days.
This fly sheet features a special triangle-shaped front closure to prevent pressure on the horse's chest and withers, and is therefore very comfortable for the horse to wear while grazing. It allows you to ensure a precise fit, thanks to the additional buckle and hook and loop adjusters.
It is anatomically shaped to stay in the correct position, even after rolling.
The integrated belly cover sits close to the horse and helps to protect from insects flying in from underneath. It is secured with a hook and loop fastening and three straight surcingles trimmed with branded artificial leather.
The tail flap is longer than standard and has an elastic strap for the tail for extra protection.
The detachable neckpiece is included for extra comfort and protection. It is reinforced with thicker and stronger webbing on both sides to stop it sliding down the neck or putting pressure directly on the mane.
Machine washable at 30 degrees and allow to air dry.
The Kentucky Mesh Fly Rug is available in Beige, in sizes 5ft 9in to 7ft.
