This model stays true to that legacy, offering the distinctive offset body shape and dual single-coil pickups that deliver the clarity and punch the Jazz Bass is known for.
Constructed with a poplar body, this bass provides a balanced tonal response with a strong midrange presence. The bolt-on maple neck features a Modern C profile for a comfortable, familiar feel, while the Indian laurel fingerboard offers smooth playability. With a 9.5-inch radius and 20 medium jumbo frets, this neck is designed for fluid movement, whether laying down foundational grooves or exploring melodic lines. Open-gear tuning machines with clover keys ensure tuning stability, while the Micarta nut enhances sustain.
Powering this bass are two Fender Standard single-coil Jazz Bass pickups, delivering the classic growl and articulation associated with the model. Independent volume controls for the neck and bridge pickups allow for precise tonal blending, while a master tone knob offers additional shaping. A standard top-load bridge with chrome steel barrel saddles provides solid intonation and sustain.
