The Martin GPC-X1E represents a harmonious blend of modern design and timeless Martin craftsmanship. This acoustic-electric guitar, part of the renowned and revamped X Series, showcases a sophisticated satin black finish, lending it an air of contemporary elegance.
Constructed with high-pressure laminate (HPL) for both the top and back/sides, the GPC-X1E boasts a durable build, ready to withstand the rigors of frequent play. Its Grand Performance body shape, known for delivering a projective and balanced tone with enhanced bass, is further complemented by a cutaway design, offering effortless access to the higher frets.
The neck of the GPC-X1E follows Martin's player-friendly PA profile with a high-performance taper, ensuring a comfortable playing experience, especially paired with the 16" fingerboard radius. The fingerboard is adorned with Style 28 faux abalone pattern inlays, amping up aesthetic charm to the instrument.
The GPC-X1E is spec'd with 20 frets, with the neck joining the body at the 14th fret, offering a balanced range for varied playing styles. The guitar is equipped with satin chrome closed gear tuners with small knobs.
For the modern musician, the GPC-X1E comes fitted with Martin E-1 electronics. This setup includes a built-in chromatic tuner and controls for volume, tone, and phase.
This guitar comes with a softshell case. Most new Martin Guitars ship with the original endpin not installed, if you'd like us to install one for you before shipping, please let us know and we'd be happy to.
