The I/O is concise and focused for a desktop rig. Two front-end XLR combo inputs handle mic or line sources with 48 V phantom on tap, and a dedicated Hi-Z instrument jack welcomes DI bass or guitar without a separate box. Balanced monitor outputs feed powered speakers, and a front-panel headphone jack manages private cue mixes. With direct monitoring in Console, performers hear themselves through UAD processing at near-zero latency while you choose to print the sound or monitor it and record clean.
Session control stays tactile. A large encoder governs monitor level with quick access to mute, dim, and mono, and per-channel gain with metering keeps headroom obvious. SOLO Core DSP runs the included Heritage plug-ins in real time, so tracking through 1176, LA-2A, Pultec, API Vision, or vintage tape is not a CPU negotiation. The metal chassis is compact and roadworthy, and bus power means one cable from laptop to interface handles audio, control, and power.
