BD Diesel Cool Down Timer Kit v2.0Turbochargers operate at high temperatures. The Cool Down Timer is designed to keep the engine running when the ignition is turned off to prevent turbocharger bearing failure that could occur when the engine is shut down, stopping the cool lubricating oil flowing to the turbocharger while it is still hot. If the oil flow is shut off too early, the remaining oil in the bearing housing will overheat causing coking of the bearings which causes both

If the oil flow is shut off too early, the remaining oil in the bearing housing will overheat causing coking of the bearings which causes both premature bearing wear and reduced oiling of the bearings. Allowing the engine to idle to a minimum operating speed gives the turbocharger time to cool down. The CDT is adjustable for up to 5 minutes of idle time, or optionally works with any K-Type EGT probe for temperature-based shutdown.This Part Fits:

I bought this suit for my son's graduation, and it was exactly what we needed. Since he will probably only wear it once, I didn't want to spend a fortune at a high-end department store. For the price, the quality is surprisingly good; it looked sharp and he received a lot of compliments during the ceremony. We ordered a size Large (L) based on their sizing chart, and it was true to size and fit him perfectly. The fabric is lightweight but doesn't look cheap at all, making this a fantastic, excellent cost-benefit choice if you are looking for an option for a one-time event. Highly recommended!
