A smooth stretchy bottom and top would be nice. i wouldn’t recommend for diabetics because of the indentions they make. They are fairly comfortable. But if not pulled on right you will walk on the band and it digs in a little. Also after awhile the top slides down and the foot part slides back. i have to keep readjusting. The material itself is soft. I am wearing and i like them but if i want more i will look for some without the elastic bands top and bottom. I dont like socks because my toes are sensitive and i am more comfortable without my toes covered. These are working for me now. In future will look for something similar.
