The new display features include Dynamic Island, ProMotion technology with adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz, 2,000 nits peak brightness when used outdoors. Also featuring a 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR Display, with an Always on Display mode feature.

The Dynamic Island is a whole new way to interact with iPhone. Dynamic Island can display conent that's running in the background, such as timers and music controls, plus it shows interactions like ‌Face ID‌ unlocking, Apple Pay payments, incoming phone calls, and more. It is interactive, so you can tap into it to expand it, designed to change in size and shape depending on what's being displayed. At rest, the Dynamic Island is a small rounded black area on the display that's smaller than the notch, taking up less space than before. In use, it can elongate in either direction, and it can expand to take up the entire width of the display if needed.

For video, the iPhone 14 Pro 256GB features ProRes video recording up to 4K at 30 fps (1080p at 30 fps for 128GB capacity) and Action Mode is great for video shooting that is designed to improve stabilisation when you are recording video while moving. This works really well and is a feature that will make a difference to almost anyone, and improved Cinematic mode up to 4K HDR at 30 fps.
