Update: Thanks to your support, all six puppies survived parvovirus and made a full recovery. The adorable puppies are playful, happy, and healthy. Some more great news is that all of them have found loving homes, and Chica and Chico were adopted together.
Candy, Chica, Chico, Caddy, Cacao, and Coco arrived in rescue and were quickly placed in a foster home. But within days, the playful young litter began showing signs of serious illness and needed prompt veterinary care.
These puppies are now being treated for parvovirus, a life-threatening condition in young dogs. With supportive care including fluids, medication, and close monitoring, the team is working to help them fight the infection and survive. Candy was hit the hardest, but she is responding well to treatment.
While the litter is improving, their recovery is still underway as they continue to heal. Your support can help ensure these they receive the ongoing care they need to fully recover and move toward the bright futures ahead of them.
