Built from a solid chambered mahogany, featuring a bound carved maple top, this single cutaway body, gloss finished in a stunning Clairvoyant blue, is a multifaceted powerhouse, with forearm and body contours to ensure the guitar stays where you want it. The mahogany neck, found in the Performance "C" profile, is topped with a bound ebony fingerboard, adding clarity and brightness to the well-rounded tone. Guiding the player's path are Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays stretched over 22 Medium Jumbo frets, with Luminlay side dots for dark gigs, or bedrooms, where exactness is sacred.
Electromatic's give any guitarist the ability to compose all sounds and styles, and the Sphere Twin Six humbuckers, found in both the neck and bridge positions, are a no-brainer for handling the balance between polished cleans and extreme means. With a tone knob to control each pickup, and a 3-way pickup selector to switch the desired positions, this Electromatic signifies simplicity over complexity for achieving tonal bliss. The treble bleed circuited master volume is the unsung hero of the instrument, with a push-pull mechanism to engage a Lumen filter, expanding the sonic portfolio attainable with this instrument.
To maintain all intonation and stability, Gretsch has added a LockDown wraparound locking bridge to soothe the souls of even the thickest pickers, a bridge that is as playable as it is dependable. Found at the headstock are die-cast sealed locking tuners, because too much safety is never a problem.
