The color is an overall light brown with a nice, linear grain pattern. It was also cut from close to the pith and a small portion of that pith is present along one edge. It also includes a narrow strip of bark along one edge. That strip of bark, as well as the area of pith will turn off completely as the block is roughed to round on the lathe.

Nice, high end look, disposable

I hate to spend a lot of money on something that's just going to be thrown away, so typically buy dollar store disposable silverware for parties and gatherings. But every once in a while, you want something more upscale or high end looking. Enter this pricy but pretty plastic silverware. It is perfect for a wedding, anniversary, shower or other event where you want a nicer look instead of basic.
It is sturdy. You won't have to worry about it breaking as someone spears a bite of chicken. It looks great! There's only so much you can do with plastic ware but for what it is, it looks really nice.
