The statue could only move its mouth, but even this was enough to draw pilgrims from far away lands.

Shenlong, upon learning of the statue, arranged for the statue to be brought to Malifaux. It was a massive undertaking, but the eventual journey through the breach completed the awakening and granted the statue full movement.

Now, the Obsidian Statue serves those who gave it life. It owes them a debt that can never be repaid... and the Ten Thunders know this.
