This GMT dual time zone watch in a stainless steel finish is one of our most popular models, featuring a high-performance quartz Ronda 515.24 movement, an anti-reflective and impact-resistant sapphire crystal, and a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel. The robust 300m / 1000ft water-resistant steel casing makes it ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and water sports. However, since the bezel is designed for tracking time across two time zones, its suitability for diving applications is somewhat limited. That said, from a water-resistance perspective, the watch is fully capable of handling underwater environments.

The Concept of a GMT Watch

The idea behind GMT watches is both clever and straightforward. Unlike conventional watches, where the hour hand completes a 12-hour rotation, a GMT watch adds a second hour hand that completes a 24-hour rotation. This hand is paired with a 24-hour scale on the bezel, allowing the wearer to track a second time zone with ease.

GMT watches often resemble diver watches at first glance, but their functionality is distinct. The 24-hour hand moves once per day instead of twice, eliminating any confusion between AM and PM.

Designed for Pilots

We originally produced these watches for long-haul airline pilots and military transport pilots, including those flying aircraft like the Lockheed C-130 Hercules and Airbus A400M. The GMT functionality allows them to track both departure and destination time zones at a glance.

Understanding the Benefits of Sapphire Crystal

Many customers ask us about the advantages of sapphire crystal compared to standard mineral glass. The key benefits include:

  • Superior Strength: Sapphire crystal is extremely strong and highly resistant to shattering and scratches.
  • Ideal for Active Lifestyles: These qualities make it the preferred choice for military personnel, security forces, police officers, and outdoor enthusiasts—a group that makes up over 70% of our customer base.
  • Exceptional Durability: From our experience, over 90% of watch crystal cracks occur in watches with mineral glass, even when hardened. Sapphire is significantly more durable in harsh conditions.
  • Heat Treatment Process: After manufacturing, sapphire glass undergoes heat treatment to remove internal stresses, further enhancing its durability. Two anti-reflective coatings are also applied.
  • Used in High-End Devices: Sapphire crystal is now even used in high-end smartphones, such as the latest iPhones.

Of course, sapphire crystal comes at a higher cost, which is why it is typically found only in premium timepieces. However, for those who demand long-term durability and clarity, the investment is well worth it.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
