The Gibson ES-335 Figured is Gibson's classic Electric Spanish double cut semi-hollow guitar with an AAA figured maple top.

In many ways the Gibson ES-335 is regarded as the guitar for every genre. With the punchy tone delivered by a Gibson with two humbucking pickups coupled with the air and resonance of a semi-hollow body, the ES-335 has transcended musical styles since the late 1950s. 

This guitar, from Gibson USA's Original Collection, is styled after the early '60s style 335 body, noted for its shorter cutaways and skinnier neck profile. It features 3-ply AAA figured maple/poplar/maple full body construction, mahogany neck with Rounded "C" profile, 12" radius bound rosewood fingerboard, and classic pearloid small block inlays. Under the hood, the Gibson ES-335 Figured features a maple centerblock and quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce bracing.

The ES-335 Figured features Gibson's new Calibrated T-Type pickups, a matched set of unpotted humbuckers styled after vintage Gibson T-Top pickups made from 1966-1979. These new pickups are comprised of Alnico-5 magnets and polysol wire, just like the originals. The T-Type rhythm pickup measures an average DC resistance of 7.3K, while the treble pickup comes in at 7.6K.

Other key features of the ES-335 Figured are Gibson vintage style tuners with keystone buttons, aluminum ABR-1 bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, 22 medium jumbo frets, as well as individual volume and tone controls wired to Orange Drop Capacitors.
