Patience is one of the great virtues that certainly cannot be included among Axel's. Thirty-something, businessman with his own mechanical workshop and little or not at all given to wasting time. Above all, he can't stand desperate women. But as the saying goes: never say I won't drink this water... Vision of the future. That's the big idea they put in our heads, but it can't in any way be applied to Portia's life. Two divorces, several lovers, a threat of bankruptcy and a brother tired of covering expenses condemn her to a job with a minimum wage that at most gives her access to mass-produced clothing. And to make matters worse, in a hostile environment... Will Axel and Portia find some common ground despite belonging to such opposite worlds?
