For centuries loofah sponges have been prized as the ultimate luxury in bathing sponges. They are a totally biodegradable, natural and renewable resource as they are made from the fruits of the Luffa aegyptiaca vine. The loofah fibres are sewn into a pouch shape and are filled with Thurlby super creamy hand made soaps. The pockets are closed with a velcro strip so it is easy to insert another soap when the original one is finished.


*Thurlby use sustainably grown palm oil in their products. The palm oil is grown in Malaysia on plantations which were previously used for rubber production. So NO new forests are being destroyed in the production of this palm oil.
