The Fender Vintera II '50s Jazzmaster delivers the iconic sound of Fender's late-1950s classic electric guitar. Finished in Desert Sand with Gold Anodized pickguard, this Vintera II Jazzmaster is a testament to building a vintage-inspired instrument at an affordable reach.
The Jazzmaster has come into its own establishing itself as a stalwart instrument in the surf and country music scenes of yore before being adopted by the newer generation of rock and alternative players. It even looked like it may overtake the Strat in popularity, that is, until Hendrix wielded the mighty axe.
This Jazzmaster is comprised of an Alder body and Maple neck with Late '50s "C" profile. The Vintera II Jazzmaster is fitted with a 7.25" radius Slab Rosewood fingerboard. Yes, you read correctly - a Rosewood fingerboard! Albeit a strong and sustainable tonewood, gone are the Pau Ferro fingerboards of Vinteras past.
The Vintera II Jazzmaster comes loaded with a pair of Vintage-Style '50s Single-Coil Jazzmaster pickups and features the original Lead/Rhythm circuit found on vintage Jazzmasters. If you like to match, a Vintera II Precision Bass in Desert Sand with Gold Anodized pickguard is also available!
