Designed to match the Kentucky Mesh Fly Rug Classic, it is made from a strong and breathable 100% UV protective mesh fabric.
The ears are made from a strong and effective knitted mesh, while the edges of the mask are very soft fleece to help prevent rubbing.
It offers maximum protection against insects for your horse when he is in the field, and it is very resistant to playful horses! The clever design means that the mask pops back to its original shape, staying away from your horse's sensitive eye area.
Two strong Velcro closures under the horse's jaw keep the fly mask in position.
The material of the mask will prevent harmful UV rays getting through, whilst the mesh fabric is also treated with a 100% UV protective coating that reduces the fatigue on the fabric and helps prevent it from discoloring. The mesh eye covering will also prevent a high degree of UV from getting through onto the eyes thanks to the tight mesh weave.
Machine washable at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry. Kentucky recommend washing the mask as infrequently as possible and using a protective bag. They also recommend use of a professional large capacity machine to limit the damage that can be caused by a normal washing machine. To dry, simply put outside on a sunny day.
