Melamine is a very popular material in tableware. It is more durable than plastic and it is lighter than ceramics, so it is a perfect choice for children’s tableware sets. The quality of prints on melamine is very high, so it’s not only very durable but lovely looking on the table as well. Melamine, however, can break if they suffer heavy impact.

We recommend melamine dishes to be washed by hand. Do not put melamine products into the microwave or the oven, as high temperatures damage melamine surfaces. Melamine tableware is dishwasher-safe when wash cycle temperature does not exceed the max temperature allowed for the product, 60 °C. However, as the dishwasher might fade the colours of the melamine object, handwash is recommended. Happy baking!
