Joining in on Martin's celebrated Road Series of guitars, this particular acoustic, championing one of Martin's most versatile body shapes, punches in for exceptional playability and an authentic Martin tone. Let's hit the road.
The SC-10E Spruce joins the celebrated Martin Road Series for a guitar that is ready for practice, performance, travel, and more. An ultra-comfortable, marvelously playable design lends itself exceptionally well to players of all stripes, wherever they may be. This all starts with Martin's SC body shape with a carefully shaped cutaway. The body's S-13 Fret Cutaway body ensures easy handling and seamless playability at every juncture. This Martin's body assembles with a spruce top and solid sapele back and sides to balance a dynamic tonal profile between crisp highs and rich lows. A Tone Tension X Brace bracing pattern lines the spruce top with scalloped treble-side braces and non-scalloped tone bars.
This Road Series entry continues on with Martin's Sure Align neck system, offering unprecedented access to the highest frets . Alongside this system, a Low Profile Velocity neck profile does just what it sounds like it should – inspire speed and a nimble feel at every register. A FSC-certified Richlite fingerboard drops in with twenty frets across a 25.4" scale length with 28 Style Dots. The neck's smooth satin finish connects seamlessly in hand for comfortable travels up and down its length.
Primed for reliability as well as playability, the SC-10E Spruce features a fine hardware setup. An FSC Richlite bridge joins with a compensated white TUSQ saddle to ground strings stably. At the scale's opposite end, six chrome enclosed gear tuning machines align at the headstock for easy stringing experiences. For the performers of the world, this Road Series is ready to hit the stage with onboard Martin E1 electronics, making this guitar show-ready at a moment's notice. An included Martin softshell case travels with this Road Series for quick and safe travels from stage to stage.
Bringing one of Martin's most celebrated, "alternative" body shapes to life, the SC-10E Spruce is everything one could need for an authentic, showstopping Martin experience.
