Materiaal en uitvoering

De Pearl XL poef komt uit de collectie van het Nederlandse merk vtwonen. Het frame bestaat uit spaanplaat, grenenhout en cardboard. Het zitkussen is gevuld met schuim 3042. De bekleding is uitgevoerd in de Alet chenille: een opvallende stof met grove structuur en een onregelmatig weefpatroon.

De chenille bestaat uit polyester, katoen en viscose, voelt extra zacht aan en heeft een Martindale van 30.000. Daarmee is de stof geschikt voor redelijk intensief gebruik.

Onderhoud

Bij vlekken is het aangeraden om de stof te deppen met een licht vochtige witte doek en een neutrale meubelshampoo. Niet wrijven. Op de zitplaats kan na verloop van tijd een glanzend zitvlak ontstaan. Stofzuig de stof wekelijks om deze mooi te houden.

Stylingadvies

Gebruik deze ronde poef als extra zitplek, voetenbank of decoratief accent in de woonkamer of slaapkamer. De neutrale kleur maakt combineren eenvoudig, bijvoorbeeld met andere zachte stoffen en natuurlijke tinten.

Levering

De Pearl poef wordt per stuk geleverd. Plaats viltglijders aan de onderzijde om harde vloeren te beschermen.

Overall this is a very good product

I bought this because every sunblock I own eventually gets in my eyes and burns the living daylights out of them. I prefer to use something that isn't laden with chemicals, is cruelty free and reef safe so this looked like it would fit the bill and indeed, it does. It is a true "no tears" formula which I very much appreciate. As with so many zinc based sunblocks there's still a slight "Kabuki mask" effect but it isn't as bad as some of the other zinc products. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's easy to spread because it doesn't have a lot of "slip", doesn't glide like the non-zinc products. You do have to work with it for awhile to get rid of the decidedly chalky consistency but once you get going it seems to be okay. I think somebody else mentioned using a moisturizer before you put it on which seems like good idea even though this is supposed to be moisturizing. Would I purchase this again? I'm pretty sure I will because the "no tears" aspect of the product is important to me. I'll probably use it with a light carrier oil on my face first, let that oil sink in and then put this on top.
