Gehamerde klankschalen: met zorg en aandacht gemaakt

Het maken van deze gehamerde klankschalen gebeurt volledig met de hand. Vakbekwame ambachtslieden vormen elke schaal zorgvuldig door verschillende stadia van hamerwerk om zo de juiste vorm en een zuivere klank te bereiken. Voor de bronzen schalen worden koper en tin gecombineerd, soms aangevuld met kleine hoeveelheden andere metalen. Het gesmolten metaal wordt in een mal gegoten en vervolgens in schijven gesneden, die steeds opnieuw roodgloeiend worden gehamerd. Dit proces vraagt geduld en precisie, waarbij het metaal telkens weer opgewarmd moet worden om scheuren te voorkomen. Zo ontstaat een schaal met een unieke vorm, gewicht en klank.

Na het hamerproces krijgt de schaal de laatste afwerking: schuren, polijsten en het indien nodig beitelen voor de perfecte toon en uitstraling. Door dit ambachtelijke proces is elke klankschaal werkelijk uniek en ontstaat er ruimte voor jouw persoonlijke ritueel.
