De weg tot de enige troost.Hoe leidt de Heere Zijn Kerk tot de enige troost? Daar maakt Hij zelf plaats voor. In Zondag 1 tekenen Ursinus en Olevianus eerst de rijke troost van hen die mogen weten dat ze voor rekening van Christus liggen. In de Zondagen daarna beschrijven de opstellers van de Catechismus als het ware met terugwerkende kracht langs welke weg zij daar gekomen zijn. Hoe leidt God Zijn volk in het stuk van de enige troost? Hoe wordt er plaatst gemaakt voor Christus? Eerst moet de kwaal opengelegd worden voordat het geneesmiddel kan worden toegepast. Ursinus zegt: 'Wie zijn ellende niet kent, is ongeschikt om het Evangelie te horen.'
Is er enig middel? In deze vraag wordt naar uitkomst gezocht, zonder aan Gods recht te willen ontkomen. Door het ontdekkende werk van de Wet worden Gods kinderen eerlijk gemaakt. Niet ten koste van het recht, maar op grond van recht zoeken ze 'wederom tot genade te komen'.
Aan de hand van de Zondagen 1 tot en met 7 neemt ds. Huijser de lezer van stap tot stap mee in het onderwijs over de kennis aan de enige troost. Indringend laat hij zien hoe alleen in het verlies van al het onze de eeuwige zaligheid ligt.
Ieder hoofdstuk wordt afgesloten met enkele gespreksvragen. Daarmee is het boek geschikt voor persoonlijk gebruik, maar ook om te gebruiken in verenigingsverband.

Good value
Size: 40, Color: Black With Black Strip
My husband and brother in law both found these pants to fit a little smaller than regular dress pants.....mostly they were tighter in the thighs but the length/waist was perfect. They each ordered a size or two up and had the pants tailors to fit. They looked very sharp and were of a good quality considering they were not super expensive. I hope they have the chance to wear these more often!

Reasonable quality, slightly small, definitely unhemmed

If these pants are the right look for what you want/need, they're a reasonably good quality option. But that said, in practice these looked a little "cheesy" with the black stripe. I can't say for sure that's a result of how the product is made/how it looks, but I just couldn't see myself wearing them. That's assuming I could wear them... In terms of fit, they were slightly small in the waist for both pairs I ordered.
I'm not sure what I thought they meant when I read that they were unhemmed, but for those looking for pants to take out of the box and wear... these aren't for you. The ankles are not "finished" and require hemming to make them look acceptable. (This was my fault, so I didn't count off for this)

They stand out, and are flashy, but sizing is complicated.

High-quality pants and flashy. The stripe adds a lot of attention for reasons both good and bad.
The materials they were made are excellent quality. Pants are thick, but not too thick, and are lightweight, guaranteeing easy movement. Comfortable - could wear these all day.
I do love their appearance. They made me feel like a million bucks. :)
The only problem is sizing and fit. I normally wear size 34 for waist in jeans and dress pants like these, but the 34 I got didn't fit at all - too tight. So, I ordered a 36, and it fit, but barely. When I sat down, there was too much tightness in my "masculine area". I also ordered a 38, and, well, they were just too big - practically hung off me.
A 37 would probably work for me in these, but they don't offer such a size. I have to return the 34 and 38. Will keep the 36, see if I can have it altered in some way.
Length was fine. Being 1.86 meters, often the length in these pants is a little on the short side.
In the photo, I'm wearing size 36 and the black pair with the gold stripe, which is actually more of a flashy yellow. I liked how I looked in them, but they were a little too tight at times, the belt wasn't even necessary. It enhanced the outfit though, don't you think.
