Bereidingswijze – Mini Canadese Ham (± 2,3 kg)
Zacht gepekelde en licht gerookte ham, voorgegaard en ideaal voor een feestelijk diner.

| Voorbereiding | Haal de ham uit de verpakking en leg deze in een ovenschaal. |
| Voorverwarmen | Verwarm de oven voor op 150°C. |
| Opwarmen | Plaats de ham ca. 90 minuten in de oven op 150°C. |
| Temperatuur verhogen | Haal de ham uit de oven en verhoog de temperatuur naar 190°C. |
| Zwoerd & insnijden | Verwijder eventueel de zwoerd (met een vork) en snijd het hamspek in een ruitpatroon. |
| Insmaren | Smeer de ham in met een carameliserende grillsaus (zie recept hieronder). |
| Afgrillen | Zet de ham terug in de oven op 190°C en bak ca. 10 minuten. |
| Nogmaals insmeren | Smeer na 10 minuten opnieuw in en bak nog 10 minuten. |
| Serveren | De ham is nu klaar om te serveren. |
| Warm houden | Eventueel warm houden in de oven op 120°C. |
Carameliserende grillsaus (optioneel)
- 6 eetlepels bruine suiker
- 5 eetlepels whiskey
- Snufje kruidnagel
- 1 theelepel mosterd
Tip: Deze ham is al voorgegaard; het gaat vooral om rustig opwarmen en mooi karamelliseren voor extra smaak.

My four approve

My dogs, which I have 4, 2 labradors, one Jack Russell and one medium smallish mixed breed dog, all really love the bones. Three of them seem to be vigorous chewers the mixed breed girl being the toughest one on bones. These bones are holding up really well and the dogs really seem to like them. The dogs have not been able to get any big chunks off of the bones so I feel safe letting them have them even when I’m not watching. I would recommend these to Pet owners.
