Totdat er geen opvolger meer was in de familie waarna Jean-Claude Mas de kans greep om dit mooie wijnhuis over te nemen. Hij bracht buiten de vele wijnkennis ook nieuwe inzichten in de Winery. Hij investeerde veel om de wijnen naar een nieuw hoogte punt te brengen. Nou dat is meer dan gelukt en met de komst van deze volle rode wijn, genaamd Chateau Lauriga Grande Reserve Cuvee Jean is de cirkel rond. Het is een wijn die het best kort omschreven kan worden als uitmuntend.Een volle en rijpe oogst die wordt gelagerd op eiken houten vaten
De wijngaarden voor deze Grande Reserve Cuvee Jean zijn de oudste van Chateau Lauriga. Hier komen de allerbeste trossen vandaan en deze rode wijn is opgebouwd uit de druiven Carignan, Grenache en Syrah. De krachtige bodem structuur met veel klei, kalksteen en grind liggen in de wijn regio Côtes des Catalanes. Na een lange en vooral evenwichtige rijping periode worden alle trossen met de hand geoogst om zo enkel perfecte trossen te verwerken in deze rode wijn. Maar voordat het zo ver is rijpt deze Grande Reserve Cuvee Jean maar liefst voor twaalf maanden op eiken houten vaten in de kelders van Chateau Lauriga. Er word zelfs gebruik gemaakt van een derde nieuw vat waardoor de houtlagering nog beter te proeven is.De beste rode wijn van Chateau Lauriga
Bij het open maken van de fles Grande Reserve Cuvee Jean ruiken we al een krachtige aanzet van zwart fruit en lichte specerijen. In het glas kleurt hij diep robijn rood en de stevige structuur verklapt een deel van de smaak. Met onze neus boven het glas ruiken we een ongekende schoonheid van rijp rood fruit, met tonen van vanille en drop. De smaak is zacht met rijpe tannines die de tong verwennen. Veel indrukken van zwart fruit maar ook van specerijen garrigue, drop en vanille. Een wijn om bij weg te dromen zo mooi!Shipping Notes

For marriage or for life?
Format: Paperback
My fiancé and I bought this book through the recommendation of a friend. We really enjoyed going through this book together as Mr. and Mrs. Chan discuss the importance of Christianity not only in marriage but also in our day to day lifestyles. Before starting "You and Me Forever," my fiancé and I had recently finished "The Meaning of Marriage" by Tim Keller, which I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in getting a fundamental view on marriage in the light of the gospel. Both books are similar in the aspect of this topic, however, "You and Me Forever" was a great book to read because it was not a overly saturated religious book about marriage. This book really challenges the readers to live to not only think of marriage in the light of the gospel but also their daily lives.
So many marriage books are just that, marriage books. Do this, do that, and you will have a successful marriage. This book is unique in the sense of really pushing the reader to dig deeper in their spiritual life. Encouraging the growth in their heart rather than just biblically saturated "go to advice" for a better or stronger marriage.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone, whether you are married, single, young or old. This book gives a great view of what your marriage, life, and heart should look like in the light of eternity!

Most important marriage book

This book is excellent and a must read for every Christian who’s married. This draws our attention off ourselves and even a “great marriage” and focuses our attention and eyes on CHRIST and the mission He gave us.

It's a beautiful, God-exalting
Format: Hardcover
Still reading this with my wife and meeting up to go over the questions. It's a beautiful, God-exalting, Christ-centered view of marriage and how we are joined together for the mission of God, not just to stare at each other.
An analogy that I always like to use (and I came up with one day randomly) was that my marriage is like a wedding cake. Sure, we bought the cake. Sure, we eat the first slice (and feed each other). But, if that cake doesn't get shared and enjoyed by the people around us, it's not serving it's purpose. In marriage, yes, we serve and love each other first, as is right, but if our marriage is only for us, then I believe we aren't using it the way God intended.
I love Francis and Lisa Chan and this is a great book - not on how to have a great marriage, but how to view marriage in light of eternity and fuel us towards gospel-driven, God-honoring mission. We have only been married two years, but I see now that God is calling us to more, and we want to honor God in all that we do. I will recommend this book to others, but only once I finish the book. I'll update later with a more comprehensive review.

I Received the Old, Outdated Product

I have been buying these strips for years and my dog loves them so much that they are the ONLY treat he will eat. I ordered a 10 lb. box that arrived 5/14/26 and received old, brown-labeled product that he won’t touch. I had a white-labeled package left from my past order and he will eat those but not the old, most recently received ones. Thankfully, Amazon issued a refund, but I am hesitant to purchase these again.
