Een scherp mes los in de lade leggen vraagt om problemen. Het is niet alleen gevaarlijk, het beschadigd ook de snede van het mes. Berg je mes daarom veilig op in een messenblok, hangt het aan een magneetstrip of berg hem op.
De mesjes uit deze set hebben een hardheid van 57 HRC. Deze hardheid zorgt voor een goede scherpte behoud, maar het mes is nog steeds makkelijk met de hand te slijpen.
Vaatwasserbestendig?
Net als alle andere messen is het gebruik van de vaatwasser niet aan te raden. Wij raden aan om je kwaliteitsmes gewoon met een lauwwarm, mild sopje af te doen en goed af te drogen. Zo heb je het langst plezier van je mes. Door de vaatwasser krijgt het staal verschillende temperaturen, zuren en andere bijtende stoffen te voorduren. Daarnaast heb je kans dat het lemmet beschadigd raakt als het borden, pannen en andere harde dingen raakt.

Snapped perfectly into place. Zero play with the fit and hood hinge still just as accessible as oe grille. No trimming required. If you’re sick of snapping your grille back in every time you lift the hood, buy it!
I also have the colored grill inserts and they snap on perfectly with no play.

Fit is perfect and these have a very nice glossy finish, which looks much better than the matte finish. As others have said, the driver's side grill lacks a cut out where the hood latch pull handle swings out when you need to lift the hood (compare the driver's side grill with the existing grill to see location and size of the cut out). I was able to cut an opening within 10 minutes and I haven't had any problems opening the hood since the installation.

Nice Finish, Decent Fit

The fitment isn't perfect like the OEM grilles, but overall I was satisfied. These are just slightly smaller than the originals so there is a little play once installed. No need to modify the LH side grille for clearance to the hood latch though as other reviews mention. It looks like the design has been revised to address that problem. I was impressed with the paint finish and there weren't any noticeable blemishes like dust or dirt in the paint. These are probably the best and cheapest gloss black kidney grilles for E46 that are currently available. OEM grilles w/ gloss black are basically discontinued so we're all stuck with aftermarket if you want the gloss black shadowline look.

Awful fitment, poor quality
Size: 2002-2005 E46
Although not oem quality was expected, but I never thought to throw them away either. Grills look very nice, outside quality is good. Unfortunately the grills do not fit to its place and slip just after you close the hood. After several tries to make them stay in place I have broken 2 clamps. Finally I have removed these grills and went on with OEM ones.
Also, pay attention that you must drill a space for hood lock on the inner side (driver side grill does not have the factory space for hood lock handle).
