Telmo Rodriguez is een bekende naam in de wijnwereld. Hij is een van de jongste wijnmakers in de Spaanse wijnindustrie. Hij leerde het vak tijdens zijn studie in Bordeaux en later in Rhône. Hij was wijnmaker in het wijnhuis van zijn vader. Maar hij vertrok rond 1994 om zijn eigen wijnreis vorm te geven. Hij ziet zichzelf als een driving winemaker. Hij woont in Madrid maar reist door heel Spanje om in verschillende gebieden wijn te maken. In een zeer korte tijd zetten hij niet alleen zichzelf maar ook zeker zijn wijnen op de kaart. Prachtige kwaliteitswijnen van lokale druiven en lokale eigenschappen. De druiven zijn zowel afkomstig van eigen wijngaarden als van wijnboeren uit de omgeving. De wijnbouw is bij allen traditioneel. De hoogte variërend van 400 tot 500 meter. De druiven worden volledig met de hand geoogst waarbij er streng geselecteerd wordt op kwaliteit. De fermentatie in de wijnkelder wordt uitgevoerd met inheemse gisten. Tot slot rijpt de wijn 12 maanden in roestvrijstalen tanks.De toegankelijke Gaba do Xil Mencia
Zodra we de Gaba do Xil Mencia inschenken, kunnen we direct genieten van een heerlijke geur van rood fruit en blauwe bessen. Zo elegant als de geur is, is de smaak ook. Fijne complexiteit en verfijning. Een laagdrempelige wijn, waarbij deze variant iets minder geconcentreerd is al dat we van Spaanse wijn zijn gewend. New York Burning

This is an important book that explores in depth what is usually only found in textbooks as a one-sentence summation:
"In 1741 there was a slave uprising in New York City."
Scholars will probably be happier starting with the Appendix and bibliography and then reading the book. The text is disorganized and uneven, and although this is non-fiction, the characters could have been more finely drawn. Peter Zenger's trail keeps popping up in unexpected places, often disconnected from the action the author is working on. Some sections are heavy on primary documents and period writings, others are more poetic.
Yes, I do understand the parallels with the Salem Witch Trials. The Salem Witch Trials get more press today because of Arthur Miller's "Crucible." Color and religion of the participants aside, both events are stories of group think and mass hysteria, fear and anger. There is plenty of room here for a first-class film or play to be written.
Read this book, learn from it. Expect to complain about it.

What You Didn't Know
Format: Paperback
Did you know that if you were a Catholic Priest on the streets of New York in 1747 that you'd be arrested and hung! Great book if you're interested in the times during which our founding Fathers were growing up. It'll give you a different concept on how slavery was different in NYC as opposed to in the South, and how many of the streets in NYC got there names from English magistrates. If you like history, especially of NYC, you'll love this book.

Affordable and gets the job done

This is a great book. It gets the job done. It's clear and concise about the important concepts. The authors really edit the cases so that only the important and relevant stuff without the other fluff. I think that this book is better than other expensive textbooks. I don't think anyone didn't love this book. 100% would encourage professors to assign this book.

Genuinely the best textbook ever
Format: Paperback
I have never had a better time understanding cases / the law than in this book. The authors made it incredibly straightforward & easy to read which is highly appreciable as the majority of other legal textbooks are confusing & full of questions without answers. 11/10 recommend!!!!!!!!!!
