Door de BP3 bi-metalen boorpunt aan de schroef kun je hem zonder voorboren gebruiken, de boorpunt heeft een boorcapaciteit voor 2-5 millimeter dik staal. De minimale inschroefdiepte in het hout is 45 mm voor het maken van een stevige bevestiging. De aandrijving van de schroef is een zeskantkop SW-8.
