Nanofilter: bescherming & duurzaamheid

De nanofilter is de dunne beschermlaag rondom het hoofdfilter. Deze laag is speciaal ontwikkeld om de binnenste filterlagen te beschermen en hun levensduur te verlengen. Zonder nanofilter raakt het HEPA-filter sneller verzadigd, wat leidt tot hogere kosten en verminderde luchtzuivering.

Voordelen van de nanofilter:

  • Beschermt de hoofdfilter: voorkomt dat grove vervuiling de HEPA- en koolstoffilters bereikt
  • Vangt grof vuil effectief af: zoals haren, stof, huidschilfers en andere zichtbare deeltjes
  • Verlengde levensduur van het filter: doordat de binnenste filters minder snel verstopt raken, gaan ze langer mee
  • Eenvoudig te vervangen: de nanofilter kan binnen enkele seconden worden verwijderd en vervangen

Wanneer vervangen?

Om de optimale werking van je luchtreiniger te behouden, adviseren wij het volgende onderhoudsschema:

  • Nanofilter: elke 3 maanden vervangen
  • Hoofdfilter (binnenste filterlagen): blijft hierdoor tot wel 12 maanden effectief

Waarom is regelmatig vervangen belangrijk?

Een verzadigde nanofilter vermindert de luchtstroom door het apparaat, waardoor de motor harder moet werken en het energieverbruik toeneemt. Bovendien neemt de filtercapaciteit af, waardoor fijnstof, allergenen en bacteriën minder effectief worden afgevangen. Door de nanofilter tijdig te vervangen houd je de luchtkwaliteit in huis constant op het hoogste niveau en verleng je de levensduur van je volledige filtersysteem.

Tip

Controleer de nanofilter maandelijks visueel. Is de filter zichtbaar verkleurd of bedekt met stof en haren? Dan is het tijd voor vervanging, ook als de 3 maanden nog niet verstreken zijn. In huishoudens met huisdieren of in ruimtes met veel stofvorming kan de nanofilter sneller verzadigd raken.
