Door afmeting en gewicht is de Groendakpan zo ontworpen dat een dak met dakpannen geheel vergelijkbaar is. Doordat de dakpansubstraat en de sedummixmat aan de groendakpan zitten zijn dakhellingen van 25º tot 55º haalbaar.

Met een groendakpan doe je ieder schuin dak.

De Groendakpan kan toegepast worden naast de bestaande dakpannen en hulpstukken zoals de nokpan, hoekpan, vogelpan, dakdoorvoer, e.d. De groendakpan is een dakpan welke gelijkwaardig is aan, of direct uitwisselbaar is met een sneldekpan. Deze keramische of betonnen hulpstukken zijn dan uitgevoerd als: ‘hulpstukken zonder groen’; dus niet als specifieke groendakpan. De groendakpan kan vastgelegd worden met een pannenhaak.
