Heuchera ‘Palace Purple’ is een decoratieve vaste plant die vooral geliefd is om haar diep purperrode, bijna bronskleurige blad. Deze kleur blijft gedurende het hele groeiseizoen opvallend aanwezig en zorgt voor een sterk contrast in borders, schaduwrijke tuinen en plantencombinaties.

In de zomer, vanaf ongeveer juni tot augustus, verschijnen fijne bloemstelen met kleine, wit tot crème kleurige bloemetjes. Deze luchtige bloei steekt elegant boven het blad uit en trekt bijen en andere bestuivende insecten aan.

Het sierlijke blad vormt een compacte pol en blijft ook buiten de bloeiperiode de belangrijkste sierwaarde van de plant. Hierdoor is Heuchera ‘Palace Purple’ het hele seizoen aantrekkelijk, zowel in volle grond als in potten en bakken.

Deze vaste plant groeit het beste in halfschaduw tot schaduw, maar kan ook op een plek met gefilterd zonlicht worden toegepast. Een goed doorlatende, humusrijke bodem zorgt voor optimale groei en bladkleur.

Heuchera ‘Palace Purple’ is winterhard en onderhoudsarm. Afgestorven of oude bladeren kunnen eenvoudig worden verwijderd om de plant fris en compact te houden.

Good Relief, But a Little Pricey

It feels gentle but still effective, and I don’t need to use a ton for it to work. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the price. It’s a little on the higher side for the amount you get. I also find myself reapplying a bit more often than I’d like. But overall, it’s one of the better creams I’ve tried, and I’ll definitely keep using it.

Not good for eczema
This cream shouldn't be described as an eczema cream. Eczema is usually colonized by s. aureus bacteria, and you need a powerful anti-bacterial substance in your skin cream in order to combat it. Neem oil or manuka honey both have strong anti-bacterial effects, and I recommend getting a cream with one of those ingredients if you have eczema. This Puriya cream is helpful for moisturizing dry skin to prevent eczema. However, it won't help to stop eczema once you've got it. That said, customer service was very helpful and gave me a refund for the product after I complained.

Calm Cream for Redness
This naturally plant based eczema cream is really calming on my skin, and it feels lovely with no irritation from using it.
