Iepschors bevordert de spijsvertering en beschermt het maagdarmkanaal, het wordt gemaakt van de bast van de Amerikaanse rode iep en doet zijn Engelse naam eer aan. De bast van de iep bestaat uit suikermoleculen, de zogenaamde polysachariden (ook bekend van Moro’s wortelsoep). Om ook daadwerkelijk iepenschors te kunnen gebruiken, meng je het poeder met water en ontstaat er een soort slijm. Hoe slijmiger, hoe beter. Van iepenschors is bekend dat het de spijsvertering en het maagdarmkanaal bevordert, vooral wanneer de hond problemen heeft zoals diarree of braken. Het gemengde slijm of de polysachariden omhullen de maagslijmvliezen en beschermen ze tegen irritatie en ontsteking. De iepenschors kan niet alleen worden gebruikt bij maag-darmklachten, maar kan dankzij de slijmerige siroopconsistentie ook zeer nuttig zijn voor het verbeteren van kiespijn en keelpijn of ademhalingsproblemen en ontstekingen.

Great product!
I've been taking this gut health product for 10 days and can tell a huge positive difference already! I am 65 years old and have been overweight for about 13 years. I have been unable to lose weight until recently through diet and exercise, but after losing only 10 pounds I was unable to lose more to reach my goal of 30 pounds. Mom says they have been working so far for that bloated feeling
As of late she's been getting more discomfort and these have been helping her with indigestion. They seem to be working as intended but of course she will continue to use them for a longer period so that hopefully those symptoms she was having reside. She likes that it overall helps support metabolism and balances the gut. The natural ingredients are a plus. Doesn't have to worry about any GMO's and additives. After the bottle runs out I'll probably buy another for her since they seem to help her upset stomach.
