Pinot Grigio - Festival - Kellerei Meran 2024

Deze Pinot Grigio uit Alto Adige kenmerkt zich door zijn verfrissende zuren, levendige citrus aroma's en delicate fruittonen zoals groene appel. De wijn heeft een medium body met uitgebalanceerde mineraliteit en een verfijnde, aanhoudende afdronk.

VINIFICATIE:
Koude maceratie gedurende ongeveer 12 uur. 
Alcoholische gisting in kleine roestvrijstalen tanks. 
Rijping op de fijne droesem gedurende 5 maanden. Levendig geelachtig groen. 
In de neus fruitige, frisse geuren van groene appels en bananen. 
In de mond evenwichtig en complex met een verfrissende fruitzuurgraad; matige afwerking.

Meran Kellerei  Coöperatie is in 2010 ontstaan uit de Coöperatie Burggrafler (1901) en Coöperatie (1952). In totaal bezit de Coöperatie Cantina Merano 260 hectare aan wijngaard op een hoogte tussen 300 en 1100 meter.

Sinds 2013 is de nieuwe wijnkelder en vinotheek in gebruik genomen. Merano ligt aan het einde van het dal dat bij Bolzano begint. Het dal is bekend om zijn subtropische klimaat wat een positieve bijdrage levert aan de wijnbouw in en om Merano.

Wijnbergen kenmerken het landschap en bedekken de hellingen rondom de stad. Ze getuigen van de betekenis van de wijndruif en van de wijn voor het gebied rond Merano/Meran.


Zuid-Tirol is een wijnbouwgebied met een rijke traditie, dat in de afgelopen jaren vooral naam heeft gemaakt vanwege zijn witte wijnen en talrijke internationale prijzen heeft gewonnen. Dit geldt ook voor het Meraner Land, waar internationaal bekende soorten zoals pinot blanc, chardonnay, sauvignon, gewürztraminer worden geproduceerd.
