Azuleojos (oorspronkelijk witte en blauwe keramische tegels) zijn een uitvinding van de Moren. De versiering valt in de smaak bij de Portugese koning Manuel I tijdens zijn bezoek aan het Alhambra, in het zuiden van Spanje. Hij is zo onder de indruk van de fabelachtige schoonheid van de Moorse decoraties in het interieur van het Alhambra dat hij zijn eigen Evora paleis in Portugal met soortgelijke tegels laat versieren. In het tactische spel Azul is het aan de spelers om in opdracht van de koning de muren van het koninklijke paleis in Evora te verfraaien. I’m also thinking about ordering another one to do the double curtain look because it looks that good. Overall, very happy with this purchase!
