De WOOOD Mae is een organische salontafel in de kleur alpaca met een speels silhouet en slanke poten. Het opstaande randje rondom het blad maakt deze tafel niet alleen stijlvol, maar ook praktisch in dagelijks gebruik.

Materiaal

Het tafelblad van de Mae is vervaardigd uit sterk MDF en de poten zijn gemaakt van grenenhout. MDF wordt gevormd uit geperste houtvezels die onder hoge druk met hars worden verkleefd. Hierdoor heeft het materiaal een zeer glad oppervlak. Het MDF uit de WOOOD collectie is voorzien van een sterke grondlaag en afgewerkt in kleur, zodat het goed beschermd en direct klaar voor gebruik is.

Afmetingen

De tafel heeft een hoogte van 35 cm, een breedte van 100 cm en een diepte van 58 cm. De opstaande rand rondom het blad is 2 cm hoog. De poten hebben een hoogte van 32 cm en lopen taps toe van circa 3 cm naar 1,5 cm.

Onderhoud

Een voordeel van MDF is dat het niet snel versplintert of kromtrekt. Wel is MDF gevoelig voor vocht en hitte door de sterk zuigende werking van het materiaal. Vermijd daarom langdurig contact met vochtige of hete voorwerpen om uitzetten te voorkomen.

Levering en montage

De salontafel wordt geleverd in één pakket. De poten zijn eenvoudig te monteren met behulp van de bijgeleverde montage-instructie. Plaats voor het beschermen van harde vloeren viltglijders onder de poten.

I love little trays for random things. I saw this and had to get it. I ordered the black one. It came nicely packaged in a box that protected it from any damage during transport. It is approximately 8” x 8” x 1.6.” It is made of faux leather and MDF. It is supposedly water-resistant, but I have tested that. The interest in smooth, while the exterior walls have vertical ridges. The bottom is smooth. It’s heavy enough so it doesn’t side around. I have used it for numerous things: jewelry, pens and notepads, keys and sunglasses, perfume, medications, change, remotes, and change. It’s a handy and modern piece that could suit most people.
