Ozark Beauty strawberries (Fragaria × ananassa 'Ozark Beauty') are a classic everbearing variety celebrated for their adaptability, sweetness, and long harvest season. Compact and vigorous, these hardy plants grow 6–12 inches tall with lush green foliage and produce medium-sized, glossy red, conical berries. Known for their rich flavor and reliable yields, Ozark Beauty strawberries thrive in both containers and garden beds, performing well across a wide range of climates.
For best results, plant in full sun (at least 6–8 hours daily) in fertile, well-draining soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0–6.5). Keep soil evenly moist to support continuous fruiting from spring through fall. The berries are ready to harvest when uniformly red, aromatic, and easily detach from the stem with a gentle tug.
