Simply insert the irrigation stick into the bottom of the grow pot, and it will ensure roots are moistened evenly. The planter’s large, round eyes indicate how much water is left in the reservoir, allowing children to learn to keep track of the moisture levels in their plants.

If the eyes are blue, the reservoir is full; if the eyes are brown, reservoir is empty. For plants that like to be kept evenly moist, refill the reservoir as soon the eyes turn brown, and for plants that like dryer climes, wait a few days.
