Trick roping, trick riding, shooting, whip cracking, fast draw, gun spinning, cowboy mounted shooting and the throwing arts (knives, tomahawk etc) are all part of these arena skills developed to entertain and help preserve the legacy of the old time wild west shows of Buffalo Bill Cody's era of the late 1800's and Will Rogers era entertaining folks through the Great Depression.
