Are you looking to buy Polymaker PolyLite PLA in Australia?

PolyLite™ is a family of 3D printing filaments made with the best raw materials to deliver exceptional quality and reliability. PolyLite™ Galaxy PLA is a high-quality PLA with a hint of reflective glitter inside to create a series of dark sparkling colours with an eye-catching galaxy effect.

To prevent nozzle clogs a 0.6mm nozzle diameter or larger is necessary for printing galaxy filament.

 FEATURES

  • Starry Galaxy Effect - PolyLite™ Galaxy PLA is a high quality PLA with a hint of reflective glitter inside to create a series of dark sparkling colours with an eye catching galaxy effect. This starry effect makes PolyLite™ Galaxy PLA a great option for astronomy models, science fiction toys, figurines and a wide range of fun and aesthetically pleasing projects.

  • Strength and Rigidity - PolyLite™ Galaxy PLA is based on the same high molecular weight PLA as PolyLite™ PLA which makes it one of the most rigid PLA materials on the market. The combination of good tensile strength, inter-layer adhesion and stiffness makes PolyLite™ Galaxy PLA ideal for product design and prototyping applications that require a rigid material that is easy to print.

  • Compatibility In Mind - PolyLite™ Galaxy PLA is compatible with a wide range of 3D printers equipped with a 0.6mm nozzle or larger. Galaxy PLA works well on most printing surface with a thin layer of glue stick applied, no heated bed is required but can sometimes be used at 40 - 60°C for better results (maximum 60°C).

  • Anti Heat Creep technology - PolyLite™ Galaxy PLA is manufactured with Polymakers Jam-Free™ technology which improves the heat stability of the filament with softening temperatures over 140°C and leads to excellent printing quality with zero risk of nozzle jams caused by heat creep [1].

  • Uncompromised Quality - PolyLite™ Galaxy PLA filament is made with the highest quality ingredients including Ingeo® from Natureworks. Natureworks is a world-leading biopolymers supplier based in the USA with a portfolio of high quality raw PLA materials produced from rapidly renewable plant resources. Combining Polymakers innovative R&D technologies, compounding and extrusion systems with Natureworks Ingeo® resins produces a reliable 3D printing filament to print beautiful and accurate models

[1]  Heat creep is the the process of heat spreading irregularly throughout the hot end, one common example is with all metal hot end designs. Once heat creeps towards the cold end, the PLA filament softens prematurely in the cold end and expands resulting in a jam. Polymakers Jam-Free™ technology increases the heat resistance of the filament itself (not the printed part) to 140˚C which prevents the filament from prematurely softening in the cold end and can still melt rapidly once entering the heating zone.

Far from enthralling, but I did learn
Format: Paperback
This book was a disappointment. It looked like exactly what I was looking for: an overview of the history, society, and culture of Egypt from ancient to modern times that wasn't 500+ pages long. I did learn a fair bit of information, but unfortunately, the book is far from "enthralling." It reads like a high school student's book report. In addition, it sometimes just throws terms out there with no explanation, and I found myself having to consult Google. For example, it says "Since hieroglyphs were difficult to create, the Egyptians developed hieretic writing, which was a type of cursive script. Later, demotic writing was developed for ordinary documents." What is demotic writing? How is it different from hieretic? The book doesn't even provide a picture. I had to go to Wikipedia to find out what these things are. This book needs slightly more detail and an author with better writing style / storytelling abilities. That said, it still may be the best short introduction available.

Recommended read by tour guide to Egypt
Format: Paperback
Very good history book of Egypt in non-complicated terms. I wish there were more pictures and maps to add to the descriptions in the book. Read this as it was recommended by our tour guide to Egypt in April
