Un rosso le cui uve provengono da ben 50 parcelle diverse,

Rosso rubino, al naso esprime un bouquet floreale, fruttato, delicatamente speziato unico per finezza. Al palato è strutturato, ricco e di grande armonia. Fresco, chiude con un finale di decisa persistenza ed eleganza.

Dalla continua selezione e ricerca della diversità nei vigneti di Fonterutoli nasce una sorta di Château chiantigiano, il Chianti Classico DOCG Castello Fonterutoli 2013 di Mazzei. Un rosso le cui uve provengono da ben 50 parcelle diverse, così da valorizzare la biodiversità e la complessità dei 36 biotipi di sangiovese presenti in azienda. Le parcelle sono state gestite, raccolte, vinificate e affinate per circa 20 mesi in piccoli fusti di rovere per esaltare al massimo lo stile unico di questo piccolo pezzo di Toscana.

A tutto pasto, si abbina a piatti ricchi e speziati, cacciagione, stracotti, tartufi, formaggi stagionati.
