The Foundation – Harken 2026 Fly Vang Base
At the heart of the system is Harken’s updated 2026 Fly vang/kicker base unit, now the most widely used choice amongst leading ILCA sailors worldwide.
Designed to cope with modern, higher vang loads, the new unit features larger-diameter, wider sheaves to increase power while significantly reducing friction. This ensures smoother control and more efficient load transfer, even when fully powered up.
